Texas Grizzly is a wild boar hunting guide service, owned and operated by Dan Moody, located in south Texas that uses specially trained dogs to locate and hold wild boars. Once the boar is 'bayed' and 'caught'; the hunter moves in to make the kill.

"Hog Hunting Special" starting now thru the end of June 2012 - $550.00 per person, they get a 2 day hunt, guides and room and board. 2 hog limit person. Need at least 2 but no more then 4 hunters. You can use my dogs or your own dogs. Bow or gun hunters can hunt in blinds or stalk.

Meat Hog Hunts

Often called meat hunts, will allow you two wild boars of any size the dogs can catch. Boars are normally average in size from 120 to 250 pounds. Some with serious tusks in the trophy classification. This is a two day hunt with a very high kill ratio; but not a guaranteed hunt. Guides, dogs, transportation during the hunt, field dressing and quartering included. I can keep your meat in a freezer until you're ready to leave.
